All our endeavors are driven by recognition of the special value of children and childhood.

Our Mission
SCKZN is committed to making a measurable contribution towards ensuring that the rights and needs of the children of the province of Kwazulu Natal are met through the implementation of a range of developmental projects.

Aims & Objectives
The key aims and objectives of SCKZN  are:

• To offer a balanced response to short term needs and long term developmental projects in a way that will strengthen capacities to bring about lasting benefits for children.
• Where assistance is required, to address both the root cause as well as the immediate need.
• To speak out and influence policy and practice towards children on the basis of our experience.
• To maintain a careful balance between working where we can be most effective in achieving influence and impact, and a special commitment to the poorest and most marginalised children.
